A HUGE thank you goes out to our Year Six buddies and the teachers of 5/6E, 6T and 6D for such a fabulous fun day today. The Year Six students worked so hard and problem solved with great creativity to come up with some fabulous activities for our Kindies and their teddies. The stations included: sack races, a flying fox, cup guessing game, a disco, teddy soccer, car races, games, rock painting, sketching, crown making, jewellery making, a photo booth, an obstacle course, pasta necklaces, parachute games, golf and more! It was just fabulous! We have had a wonderful week welcoming in term two with teddy bear fun - painting, drawing, explaining, comparing, weighing, measuring, balancing, counting, rescuing, dancing and more!
Kindergarten did a wonderful job running around Captain Oldrey Park for their first Cross Country.
What a day! After our cross country run we were fortunate to have a visit from Flea from the Environmental team at Eurobodalla Shire Council. Flea talked to us about marine debris and the importance of keeping our waterways clear and clean. She showed us some of the things she has collected in our local waterways and there was even a straw with fish bite marks in it 😞 The children were awesome thinkers and answered questions thoughtfully and respectfully,
